Powerstate is a real-time energy tycoon. You are handed a new world with one town on it and sixty years to build the power, grid and heat system that carries it, and to decarbonise that system before the planet it stands on cooks.

The physics and the economics are the present day’s: real thermal efficiencies, real capacity factors, real build times, real fuel and carbon prices on real cost curves. You site the plants, string the lines, set the tariff, and keep the lights on.

It runs entirely in your browser, on a keyboard and a mouse. The simulation, the map and your saved run never touch a server. There is no account, it costs nothing, and there is nothing to sign up for in order to play.
