Metropolis

Metropolis is the second Challenge. You take over a large city on the coast, similar to New York. All its power comes from fossil plants. You have 20 years to make the most points, and everyone plays the same map.

  • The city has 52,000 people on the first day and three 110/20 kV substations.
  • It has a coal station and two gas plants. None of its power is renewable.
  • Everything up to wind turbines and photovoltaics is developed from the start.
  • No new towns are founded, and there are no contracts.
  • The weather is like New York: cold winters and hot, humid summers.
